PARISSA HAGHIRIAN

Born in Austria, I studied Japanese Studies and International Management and Marketing in Vienna before moving to Japan in 2004.

My professional journey led me to a rewarding career as a professor of International Management at Sophia University, where I spent many years teaching and mentoring students from around the world.

While I was passionate about my academic work, my growing interest in Japanese art, particularly contemporary woodblock prints, gradually took centre stage in my life.

Over time, I transitioned from academia to pursuing my passion for art, beginning to collect these extraordinary works.

I established Haghirian Fine Arts to showcase the remarkable beauty of Japanese woodblock prints and contemporary art. I hope to share these captivating works with a wider audience, helping others discover the unique power of Japanese woodblock prints.
